Full time positions in a very busy bakery located in Midland, Michigan. We have a fun, dedicated group of creative people and are looking to add more of the same to our team as we prepare for the holiday season!

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

• 2 *FULL TIME* BAKING/DECORATING POSITIONS

Duties will include:

• Baking and decorating cupcakes, cookies, cakes
• Making chocolate dipped menu items such as cake truffles, cake pops, chocolate pretzels, chocolate oreos
• Following a recipe with accuracy
• Following state mandated health codes
• Cleaning a commercial kitchen
• Washing dishes
• Taking out the garbage at the end of the shift
• Being kind and courteous to your co-workers
• Doing wedding deliveries, primarily Friday and Saturday
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day.
• Must be able to bend and twist and lift heavy batter bowls, rolling racks, bags of flour and sugar up to 50 pounds.

Work shifts available:

We work 4 ten hour shifts with 3 day weekends.

7:00am - 5:30pm overtime during holidays and busy wedding weeks.

Work days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

This is a FULL TIME position. Please do not apply if you are not available during the days and hours listed.

We often have overtime during holidays and busy wedding weeks. Overtime is paid at time and a half.

We are a scratch bakery that makes all of our batter, buttercream, fillings, sauces from scratch with local ingredients. Therefore applicants must be focused, creative, hard working, honest and serious about a career in a bakery.

Experience in a commercial kitchen and ServSafe certification will give you an advantage when applying for this position. However, if you love baking and are creative, we will train the right person for the position.
