The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Pawling is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Position can be Full-Time or Per-Diem
PTA Duties Include:
- Measuring & recording resident motor function, strength & muscle performance.
- Assisting physical therapists in developing treatment plans.
- Observing residents; writing progress reports.
- Evaluating residents' ability to function independently.
- Assisting residents with exercises & equipment; treating residents with stretches, massages, etc.
- Educating residents on how to exercise properly to strengthen muscle & improve mobility.
- Contributing to team effort.
Requirements Include:
- Graduate of an accredited PTA Program.
- Current New York State PTA License.
- Experience in LTC is a plus!
