Location : Santa Monica

Pay : $35 per hour

Dates : October 1, 2024- January or February 2025

Schedule : 5 days a week (8 hour shifts .5 hour lunch) usually 7 : 30 am 4 : 00 pm. Days per week will be scheduled a week prior.

A family in Santa Monica is seeking a temporary housekeeper for 3 months to join their household team. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in cleaning, comfortable in a home with pets, and willing to assist with various tasks as needed.

Must be willing to work weekends if needed and rearrange your days off during the week.

Responsibilities :

• When owners are in residence, Housekeeper will need to make a simple breakfast usually scrambled eggs, yogurt, etc.
• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers / bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Making beds and changing linens
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
• Ironing clothing items
• Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste.
• Washing blinds
• Care of clothing
• Care of fine china, silver, crystal
• Greet incoming guests and visitors and direct them to the appropriate party or communicate delays in a professional manner.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a housekeeper with excellent references

Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.

Prioritization and time management skills.

Working quickly without compromising quality.

Knowledge of English language.
