We are seeking a dedicated and reliable live-in couple to join a brand new home and household team. The ideal candidates will have complementary skills to manage various aspects of household maintenance and care.

We seek someone who will primarily focus on handyman / houseman duties, while the other half of the couple would handle housekeeping and cooking responsibilities.

For Handyman / Houseman :

• Will walk the property each day inside and out to ensure that the following areas are always well maintained :
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Ensure the upkeep of the property, including lawn care, gardening, and minor landscaping, working with gardeners who will come 2 times a week
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues.
• Assist with occasional driving duties, such as running errands or transporting household members.
• Gassing, washing and maintaining cars
• Washing the outside of the house as needed, checking for cobwebs.
• Removing any dead animals
• Cleaning off outside patio furniture
• Leaf blowing if needed
• Perform general handyman tasks as needed.
• May assist housekeepers as needed with heavier or taller items
• Organizing as needed closets and garages
• Open to being available when the client’s are entertaining or having an event
• May assist with some animal care as needed

For Housekeeper / Cook :

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the household, including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and laundry.
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals according to dietary preferences and schedules.
• Plan weekly menus and manage grocery shopping and pantry inventory.
• Assist with serving meals and handling kitchen clean-up.
• Ensure the home is well-stocked with essential supplies.
• Care for household linens and perform occasional sewing or mending tasks.
• Provide assistance with entertaining guests, including meal preparation and serving.

Qualifications

For Both Candidates :

Previous experience in similar roles preferred.

Trustworthy, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexibility and willingness to handle varied tasks.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Proven experience in housekeeping and cooking roles.
