Medical Assistant Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing both administrative and clinical tasks to support our medical providers and ensure that our patients receive high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and prepare them for medical exams

- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

- Document patient information and medical history accurately and efficiently

- Assist with medical procedures, including administering medications and injections

- Manage medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are properly stocked and maintained

- Schedule appointments and manage patient records and billing information

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff

- Follow all safety and infection control protocols

- Perform other duties as assigned by medical providers or office managers

Requirements:

-BLS Certified

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience

- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Proficiency with basic computer software and electronic medical records

- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
