The case manager (CM) should have knowledge of the preparation of demands and knowledge of Florida's personal injury law. The CM must be able to communicate clearly with clients, medical providers, and insurance representatives. You will be working with attorneys to research case damages, compose and send demand letters and correspondence, and utilize existing files and other research resources to gather facts and retrieve information to develop cases.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborating and leading clients on the status of their case and setting appropriate client expectations
• Participating in the investigation of facts and circumstances surrounding each case
• Proactively move clients through their medical treatment and demand as the case requires
• Escalate issues to the attorneys, as necessary
• Monitor negotiations and offers
• Communicate and correspond with clients, lien holders, providers and others in the legal community
• Maintaining client communication on a regular basis and ensuring their files remain up to date.
• Review, analyze and summarize case files and medical records
• Be ready to go 'all hands on deck' when the firm is in need.
• Draft legal documents for attorney review.

You will have direct contact and must be able to communicate with clients, providers, and insurance companies.

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office Programs: 2 years (Required)
• Proficient with cloud and internet-based software
• Minimum of 3 years Pre-Suit Personal Injury (Plaintiff) experience (Preferred)
• File Vine or Case Management System knowledge (Preferred)
