Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated part-time high school teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to engage kids in science. Specific courses would include junior high science, biology, and health science.

Schedule:

Monday 10:00-12:00

Tuesday 8:30-12:00

Wednesday 10:00-12:00

Thursday 8:30-12:00

Friday 10:00-12:00

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an engaging science curriculum
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to ensure student success in understanding complex topics
- Manage classroom activities and create a positive learning environment
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects
- Incorporate learning technology into teaching practices
- Foster a collaborative relationship with parents and colleagues for student development

-Checking student work daily and providing feedback

-Logging student work in an online record book

-Submitting report card grades and comments.

Skills:
- Proficiency in science subjects such as biology, physics, chemistry, environmental science.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain discipline and focus
- Ability to use innovative learning technology effectively in the classroom
- Experience in behavior management techniques for diverse student populations
