Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational and behavioral strategies
- Support students in their learning activities and daily routines
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement lesson plans
- Help students with special needs, including those with autism, in their educational journey
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Skills
- Knowledge of childhood development principles
- Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting
- Ability to assist in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively
- Proficiency in math concepts for teaching purposes
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
