POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for facilitating accurate processing of accounts payable in accordance with policies, procedures and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Completes accounts payable cycle weekly.

2. Process all claims for payment using integrated accounting system software.

3. Disburses payment, and files all documents appropriately.

4. Tracks flex fund expenses to ensure individual amounts do not exceed established limits

5. Track and prepare taxi voucher list and compare with invoice

6. Assists the finance department when needed

7. Prepares weekly and monthly reports as needed for the Controller and Finance Director

8. Reviews AP checklists before disbursement.

9. Assist Finance Director and/or Controller with special projects as assigned.

10. May act as petty cash holder: verify and disburse, flex funds and taxi vouchers.

11. The employee must work well under pressure meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines. The employee shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

12. Provides customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.

13. Participates in the performance improvement processes in the Clinic.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Education/Experience

Required:

? High School Diploma or GED

• Valid Driver License and ability to pass MVR screening

? Ability to obtain Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card

? Academic or business training in bookkeeping and accounting principles

? Some knowledge and familiarity with Windows applications/environment

? Ability to enter data using computer keyboard

? Experience using integrated accounting system software

Preferred:

? 3-5 years of experience working in accounts payable
