Our gourmet cookie company is looking for a responsible key holder who enjoys talking about dessert, eating dessert, and creating a welcoming/warm atmosphere for all customers! They will work closely and fill in for the Store Manager when needed. Your job will be essential in ensuring the sales team meets its efficiency and customer satisfaction goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in retail or restaurants with a strong business mindset. You should also be skilled at organizing, and have strong interpersonal skills as a liaison between managers, employees, and customers. Ultimately, the duties of the key holder are to make sure our stores operate effectively and that we keep our customers happy.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain store inventory (may include baking and restocking cookies)
- Support store manager in creation and distribution of store schedule
- Open and close the store
- Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best
- Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates
- Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs
- Handle complaints from customers with exceptional customer service
- Make sure all employees adhere to the company’s policies and guidelines
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 years’ customer service industry experience
- High School diploma/GED required
- Proficient user of MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work well on a team
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
