The Harp & Habit – “Steubenville’s Irish Pub”

We’re looking for some outgoing hosts to help strengthen our team. You will welcome our guests and make sure they are seated promptly. You will set the stage for our guests’ experience in the restaurant. It all starts with you! If you are interested, but have not done this before, we'll train you!

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables
- Provide menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Manage waitlists and reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized host station
- Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth guest flow
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive dining experience for guests

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or restaurant industry preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food service procedures and basic knowledge of menu items
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
