WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The primary responsibility of the Senior Account Executive is to provide support and assistance to the senior management team ensuring the sales/service team is operating effectively. The responsibilities include preparation of internal documents, statistical data and reporting, cascading communications to relevant sales teams, and acting as an extension of the sales department. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for providing accurate and responsive management for complex accounts while leading in a team environment. In addition, the person in this position will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY
  • Drive sales growth by supporting the sales team in an effort to reach and exceed annual team and organizational goals.
  • Assists senior management with ongoing communications to the sales team regarding updates, strategies and opportunities.
  • Correspond with each sales team member focusing on pipeline, fulfillment, CRM data.
  • Provides status updates to senior management.
  • Support Relation client teams in peer reviewing and assembly of client presentations and proposals.
  • Provide support to sales and client service teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with service team on special projects as assigned.
  • Serves as client advocate and a primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Manage client expectations, service commitments, and anticipates needs of the assigned or new business clientele.
  • Work with large and complex accounts to assists with the strategic design of insurance plans.
  • Provide service to current and new clients by informing and educating them concerning policy coverage and/or changes.
  • Stay abreast of industry information, new products, legislation, coverage and technology to continuously improve knowledge, performance and services to clients.
  • Recommend process improvements as needed.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE
  • A Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required and must be maintained.
  • 10 years' experience in Commercial Lines Broking required.
  • College degree with focus in Business and Marketing preferred.
  • CPCU and/or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designations preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • In-depth understanding of all aspects of commercial lines of coverage.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of risk management and loss control.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills are required to maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and others.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance market, products, services and underwriting procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
  • Self-managed and responsible for project and time management.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, the ability to travel to client sites and a reliable source of transportation.
