Transition Operations Coordinator

Known internally as a Just Add Talent (JAT) Conversions Executive

Function: Star Pubs & Bars

Location: Edinburgh (South Gyle) – a mix of office & home working

Salary: £24,500 - £27,500

Contract: 6-months FTC

Closing Date: 14th June 2024

What is our Just Add Talent (JAT) Management Agreement?

Our Just Add Talent management agreement is great for people who want to operate a successful pub business, with added support and security of having an experienced team by their side. It takes an amazing team to sustain a successful community pub. Because of the support we offer, our Just Add Talent operators can focus on employing and managing the best people for the pub. And that’s not all. Not only do operators receive extensive training, but their team will also have ongoing access to training courses to help develop their skills too.

What will you do?

You will be a member of our Just Add Talent Operations Team! You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transitional operations of existing Pubs into our JAT Pubs in line with the company’s CAPEX programme. You will ensure the correct concept is reflected in the correct menus and pricing structures. You will also be responsible for managing Change of Lessee (COL) process.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Coordinate the change of lessee process, instruct solicitors and ensure contract information meets compliance standards in line with agreements.
  • Drive data accuracy and updates ensuring regulatory compliance against GDPR.
  • Escalate matters to Head of JAT Operations when necessary.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation of in-house legal documents.
  • Raise Purchase orders for third-party suppliers.
  • You may also be required to provide ad hoc assistance to the Head of JAT Operations when required.

What does it take?

You will need to be a motivated collaborator with an aptitude for problem solving and possess excellent communication skills.

If you:

  • Have experience effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have a great attention to detail and have experience in data input
  • Are able to multi-task and effectively time manage
  • Good IT literacy and can navigate different systems
  • Are comfortable taking action and learning along the way
