Lumina Counseling, provides insurance and private pay mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, families and couples, throughout the Los Angeles area. We offer individual, group, couples and family therapy, in addition to psycho-educational evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and organized Intake Coordinator to join our team. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for managing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating intake processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities

• Manage incoming client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
• Schedule client appointments and coordinate intake processes

• Conduct initial screenings and assessments to determine client needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
• Assist with billing and insurance verification processes
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless intake process
• : Manage client communications from initial call through handoff to the therapist

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field (preferred)
• Previous experience in a mental health or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Effectively manage the intake process with a combination of empathy and confidence

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
