Pay range- $15.00hr-$21.75hr

Overall Essential Functions & Responsibilities: To provide exceptional service to our residents by cleaning their homes within our community. (Independent Apartments, Cottages, Laurelwood, Memory Care and Common Areas)
Adheres to cleaning schedule as outlined for the department, according to established procedures, to include the following:
Cleaning assigned areas to include; furnishings, walls, windows, doors, ceilings, and ceiling fixtures, entrances, exits of resident doors, stairwells, key pads, & general public entrance doors.
Cleans carpets & floors; dry/wet mops, vacuums, sweeps, shampoos as directed, waxes, scrubs, and disinfects as required.
Performs emergency housekeeping where accidents occur.
Cleans movable and stationary furnishings and fixtures. Dusts, spot cleans or washes, disinfects as required, polishes as needed, etc., when soiled.
Straightens or rearranges furniture as directed, put back in place as directed.
Cleans bathrooms (resident, private, public).
Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, and walls. Washes windows and mirrors. Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Cleans all horizontal surfaces daily or as required, removing dust, dirt or greasy film, using disinfectants where necessary such as in resident care areas.
Performs terminal cleaning duties according to established procedure in resident rooms when resident has moved out and prepares apartment or cottage for new occupant.
Understands use of chemicals is necessary to perform job function and all safety measures must be put in place. This includes but is not limited to proper skin and eye protection, respirators, etc. If any usage questions arise for these chemicals refer to MSDS information.
Empties and relines wastebaskets, remove & disposes of waste and trash.
Reports observations concerning structural and equipment wear, defects and malfunctioning to Housekeeping Supervisor.
Assists residents with extra requests as time permits (e.g. clean microwave)
Performs other duties as assigned.
Build a trusting relationship with resident families.
Report to work on time.
Practice safe work habits.
