Essential Job Functions *
- Works under direct supervision
- Conducts routine tests of new components, assemblies and systems based on test criteria as established by policies, procedures or written test plans
- Works to ensure project schedules are met
- Uses test fixtures to carry out various testing requirements
- Utilizes test equipment to perform reliability testing
- Accurately collects data and test results in support of creating reports
- Assists higher level staff as needed
- Effectively communicate through emails, chats, verbal calls, and meetings.
- Experience using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to create small test setups for equipment using wood or metal stock
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment failures
- Ability to multitask and abruptly change work priorities
- Attention to detail during testing. Ability to observe, make notes and document anomalies

- Constructs basic experimental or prototype devices/circuits to meet requirements
- Ability to take direction and ownership of assigned work from inception to delivery

- Demonstrates basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to be hands-on to ensure the delivery of results
- Ability to identify problems and communicate information clearly to peers
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Basic testing experience; tests electro-mechanical components, parts and systems with supervisory technical oversight.
- Good team player skills; able to work well with others and support internal/external customer needs.
- An understanding of basic trouble shooting, problem solving and testing procedures.
- Ability to handle basic issues and problems and referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Accountability for maintaining a high level of integrity on all work performed.
- Builds good cross-functional relationships within a team environment.
