Job SummaryPrepares distribution employees to accomplish job duties by conducting a variety of on-the-job training sessions and provides backup for various positions in the department.
Essential Job Functions *
  • Provides instruction on proper operating procedures, equipment usage, safety practices, and department policies
  • Ensures that employees have the proper tools and instructions
  • Evaluates trainee performance and provides timely feedback to trainee and manager
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and adjusts as needed
  • Works on a multi-level pick module Pulls product from the stock area, packs product into the appropriate boxes, stocks shelves with product
  • Works with management to identify and fulfill ongoing training needs, development of operating procedures and training materials
  • Works with Managers to evaluate productivity issues and identify solutions
  • Maintains a current knowledge of operating procedures and company products
  • Assists in the Order Assignment, Packing, and Shipping areas as needed
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year distribution experience is highly preferred
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Training experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Word and Windows preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop and create training procedures and materials.
Operational Equipment
  • Hand-held RF Scanner, PC
Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Order Processor Fast paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Near vision required. Physical Demands Order Processor Medium- Heavy, lifting up to 30 lbs.
