The Hire is Hiring an Accounting Manager Near Providence, RI
- Assist the CFO with the management of all day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, and Payroll.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Assist with the development and evaluation of budgets and preparing budget reports.
- Support the formulation and implementation of quality control systems over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Support the accounting department with all aspects of the general ledger.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Prepare and manage accounts using various software programs.
- Prepare and assist with year-end reviewed statements.
- Follow changes in regulations and compile reports regarding compliance issues, standards, and accounting practices.
