You'll make an impact by...

• Overseeing account reconciliations for indirect tax accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee and manage processes related to all indirect taxes, including sales and use tax, property tax, and VAT to ensure all indirect tax returns are filed timely and accurately.
• Manage the preparation of annual property tax filings.
• Leading forecasting efforts for the indirect tax team, enabling accurate budgeting and planning.
• Oversee and prepare personal property tax, business license and unclaimed property forms.
• Maintain tax basis for fixed assets in fixed assets software.
• Collaborating with key partners across the controllership, treasury, and finance to achieve shared goals.
• Managing monthly close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate indirect tax accounting functions.
• Driving continuous improvement and supporting the adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Mentoring and developing team members, providing ongoing feedback, and identifying opportunities for growth.

You'll sweep us off our feet if you have...

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field from an accredited university
• 5 years experience in tax (public accounting and/or corporate tax) including multi-state sales and use tax.
• Global VAT/GST is a huge plus
• Experience in creating and executing standard operating procedures.
• A passion for process improvement and are stimulated by challenges.
• Vertex system experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in tax data analysis and leveraging data to optimize tax strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Compensation up to $140,000 bonus!
