Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking candidates that have strong organizational skills and have an ability to accurately track and record cash flow for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in the Greater Boston area. This candidate should have experience in maintaining a database of financial information and be able to recognize and solve any problems that may arise. Lastly, where appropriate this candidate will handle reporting and create a report with related information at year end.

Responsibilities
- Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
- Process expense reports from employees Identify discrepancies and escalate in appropriate manner
- Oversee and provide leadership to a growing finance team
- Implement and support the expertise in Great Plains software
- Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorized invoices and expenses
- Maintain 1099s and generate report at year end
- Verify transactions and process transactions for procedures, credit cards and receipts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 4-5 years in Accounts Payable with previous experience in MS Dynamics and Great Plains
- Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing
- Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills
- Detail oriented and capable of handling a high volume of vendor payments
- Experience with managing debits, credits, journal entries and reconciliations
- Ability to be on site full time
Compensation: $65,000-$75,000
