Case Manager

Our client, a prestigious nonprofit, is currently seeking Case Managers to support many housing programs they provide. This candidate requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior attention to detail, and an ability to shift priorities as required. Compensation: $20-24 per hour (temporary); $24 perm

Applicants must be able to pass a background check and work onsite 3-5 days per week in Boston, MA to be eligible for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Using Motivational Interviewing and a collaborative approach conduct in-depth assessment to best determine the immediate client concerns and/or barriers to housing including, but not limited to: financial, legal, mental health, substance abuse, employment, health care and housekeeping
• Develops and implements a housing intake/history with families experiencing homelessness.
• Develops partnerships and collaborative relationships with internal and external service providers to ensure client receives comprehensive service.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual Spanish is a must
• Knowledge of MA Resources plus
• Prior Case Management Experience a plus
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional professional writing skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Must be organized, level-headed, and able to manage multiple tasks/projects according to urgency
