Split shift: 7a-930a and 115p-330p; Attends student while in transit; School Year ESY Opportunity

Core Tasks of the School Nurse: Responds to and assists children in a K-12 school setting that are injured or suffer from an illness. Communicates with parents, school staff and supporting healthcare professionals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental delays

• Registered Nurse or Certified School Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (required)

Clearances & Training Required

• Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance

• Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance

• Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education

• Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate

• Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children

• State License of Practice and/or Certification

• CPR/First Aid

• TB/Physical
