Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience

Summary

Performs CAT scanning procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Positions and transfers patients. Operates CT equipment, formats images, and prepares CT rooms, equipment, supplies, medication and contrast medias. Transports patient, assists patients and equipment during procedures and reports any unusual occurrences. Practices sterile technique.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

Graduate from an AMA approved school

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Radiology (ARRT, R),
• Texas Medical Board Certification in Medical Radiologic Technology upon hire.
• Must obtain CT registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire.
• CPR required.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Documentation of CT training and experience.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of radiation safety
