Position Details:
The Intergenerational Schools are seeking substitute teachers to carry out the responsibilities of an absent teacher. Each of our three campuses is immediately looking to hire a building susbstitute for a full-time position through remainder of the school year.

Salary Rage:

• $38,000 - $40,000, based on qualifications
• Benefits Elegible

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability/desire to create a safe, secure, joyful, engaging and rigorous classroom environment
• Desire to work in a collaborative atmosphere with like-minded colleagues
• Passion for and commitment to excellence in urban public education
• Perseverance and strong work ethic; a "do whatever it takes" attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and broader community
• Interest in integrating multi-generational activities and relationships into curriculum and instruction

Education & Experience:

• A minimum of two years' successful experience working with children preferred.
