Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes including preparation of journal entries
• Review expenses at a cost center level for accuracy and understanding of key trends
• Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are properly calculated, supported, and reconciled
• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of key balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal SOX documentation and controls, reconciliations, monitor operational/industry/regulatory changes and develop new processes and policies to accommodate accordingly
• Provide timely responses and deliverables to requests from internal customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of progressive Accounting experience
• Excel (pivots, lookups)
• Knowledge of accounting concepts for accruals, prepaids, inventory capitalization, allocation of costs to business units, cost accounting, manufacturing accounting, etc.
• Ability to develop and track performance of new concepts or new initiatives against business plans
