Job DescriptionPersonal Insurance Placement SpecialistEstablished independent agency seeking a detail-oriented person who demonstrates clear knowledge and understanding of commercial lines insurance coverage. Candidate will be familiar with all coverage lines with both admitted and non-admitted carriers.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple lines of personal and commercial lines coverage, including excess and surplus lines
- Excellent organization and follow-up skills
- Ability to review insurance contracts for accuracy
- Must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Skilled in applying problem solving techniques to various issues
- Customer service experience is a must
- Previous soft sales experience is a plus
- Contacting customers and following up until their coverage needs are met
- Providing coverage options and placing risk
- Learning carrier appetite
- Carrier communication and negotiation
- Quoting, binding and issuance of policies
