Job DescriptionE&S Commercial insurance Underwriter - Hybrid RemoteA Leading Insurance MGA is seeking to add an underwriter to their team based out of their Atlanta GA office. Seeking qualified applicants with previous Property & Casualty Underwriting experience and working relationships with Southeastern Based Insurance Agencies.
Responsibilities Include

- Evaluating, prioritizing and selecting submissions to be underwritten.
- Build relationships with agencies/agents to generate new business submissions
- Identifying risk exposures, special or common hazards, claims experience and appropriate controls.
- Analyzing claims and quantifying losses.
- Adhering to guidelines and underwriting discipline to minimize exposure and appropriately price risks.
- 2 years in Property and Casualty, Commercial Underwriting with authority is preferred or must obtain upon hire
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 70-100k Base Semi Annual Bonus
- Benefits, Matching 401k, Generous PTO
