The Joy & Wellness Center is a mid-sized mental health clinic in downtown Puyallup. We offer mental health therapy, psychological testing, and brain health services to adults, teens, and children.

We’re looking for a technician to perform Neurofeedback for our clients. This is currently a part-time position offering but we anticipate that this position will become a full-time position within a few months based on current client demand trends. Onsite training is provided. This position requires that an individual learn multiple EEG computer systems that measure client brainwaves and then use the associated equipment to set up clients for an EEG and for neurofeedback training under the direction of our doctors. The successful technician must be willing to:

• Learn about brainwaves, neuroplasticity, and brain training for brain health purposes on an ongoing basis.
• Use minimal physical contact with clients for placing sensors on the ears and scalp.
• Apply EEG conductive paste and gel to sensors and EEG caps with care and precision.
• Sit with clients quietly and calmly during the EEG measurements and while they train.
• Learn multiple computer software programs and internet based streaming services.
• Learn mobile applications for our remote neurofeedback offerings.
• Learn to use and maintain EEG equipment for both in-office and remote offerings.
• Maintain a tidy and clean environment.
• Manage supply inventory.
• Talk with and provide empathic listening skills with clients.
• Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments with clients.

Schedule: 1pm-6pm Monday-Friday

Pay: $18/hr
