Description: Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner in their Grand Forks, ND location
SUMMARY Ensure that proven Maintenance Planning and Scheduling methods and techniques are used to maximize system availability, throughput, quality, safety, and environmental performance by reducing equipment repair time. Proven methods would include accurately documenting work orders so that work description, time estimates, and proper codes are captured in SAP. Parts and tools required for the work are identified, ordered and available for the work. All procedures and practices used are grounded in standards, regulations and laws addressing food safety and food quality, as well as environmental safety in accordance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
This Job Will Have The Following ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Works under general direction from the Maintenance Manager
- Follows company Environmental, Safety, and Health guidelines
- Plans and Schedules all maintenance work
- Facilitates development of the weekly maintenance schedule in conjunction with appropriate maintenance, operations, and engineering personnel
- Responsible for consistency of format for all job plans and work lists
- Manages the PM program on a daily basis
- Ensures that new equipment information, parts, PM’s, etc., is properly captured in SAP prior to start-up
- Experience in a GMP/FDA environment preferred
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles
- Demonstrated Leadership Skills
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint o Very Strong SAP PM & MM (Power User)
- Familiarity with Lean methods and processes
- Strong Organizational Skills
