The Judge Group is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Allentown, PA
Our Client Is Currently Seeking A Maintenance Technician for Its Allentown Facility. Candidates Must Be Open To Shift. Candidates Must Have Previous Manufacturing Experience.
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Applies knowledge of electrical / electronics and mechanical principles in maintaining, testing and repairing malfunctioning equipment
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical / electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable logic controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.
- Applies knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
- Performs minor mechanical and electrical repairs on rolling stock machinery and equipment.
- Install electric motors
- Basic VFD programming
- Provides support to other maintenance technicians on all shifts
Qualifications & Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, required
- Provide primary tools and equipment necessary to perform work.
- Basic knowledge of the following : three phase electrical systems, welding and machine shop practices, HVAC systems, plumbing and pneumatics, conveyors and conveying systems, and ability to read and complete preventative maintenances as assigned
- Must be local to Allentown, PA. No Relocation
