Manage data and process around vendor onboarding
Emphasis on data but ideally someone who can read contracts as well – combination
Pull and analyze data
Organize data, data clean up – look at data from multiple source files and find the difference
Focus on contracts – reading and understanding contracts to pull key terms such as renewal clauses, is the contract active, contract hierarchy (this SOW sits below this MSA, etc)
MS Excel for reconciliation of contract data against source files, need to be very strong with Excel
Need to be transparent and communicative
Currently use Oracle so that is a plus but not required
Tableau a plus
Description:
As a Data Analyst in Procurement Operations, you will assist the procurement and sourcing department with spend and contract analysis, ERP and internal system support, and working cross-functionally within the department and the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven analytic mindset, ideally with experience in Oracle and the procurement space. The ideal candidate is dynamic, vibrant, strongly skilled in Excel, and thrives in a fast paced work environment.
Required Skills:
Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data into findings
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience reading and pulling out key terms of various types of contracts
Strong problem-solving skills and work ethic
Ability to act and think strategically
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Comfortable manipulating and merging data sets and structuring them to find useful information
Desired Skills:
Experience working on business process improvement projects for a large Company
Expertise working with E-Procurement systems
Demonstrated ability to create and deliver effective presentations for various levels of management
Experience with Tableau or similar
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years’ work experience, or high school diploma with 6-8 year’s experience in legal or contracts or related field in lieu of degree
