Our client is currently seeking a Sanitation Superintendent in New Hampshire.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Plan and direct the activities of sanitation personnel during 3rd shift
• Assist in the daily evaluation of product quality to ensure compliance with established standards
• Ensure proper training of sanitation personnel to follow work rules and procedures
• Support compliance to plant quality and food safety systems, pest control, sanitation, environmental policy, corrective action policy, etc
• Evaluate job performance of sanitation personnel and take corrective action as needed
• Ensures master sanitation schedules are maintained
• Conduct inspections and initiate corrective action as needed
• Orders all cleaning chemicals and maintains proper inventory levels of chemicals
• Maintains relationship with suppliers
• Participate and lead continuous improvement efforts for the department

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• 3 years of quality or sanitation leadership experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of food safety programs and systems: BRC or SQF preferred, internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCP
• CIP experience preferred
• Spanish speaking skills are highly preferred
• Open to 3rd shift
