Senior M365 Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Successfully perform the following primary duties:
• Manage Exchange Server, Exchange Online, MAPI Outlook clients, and M365-Premise Hybrid configuration.
• Troubleshoot networks and network appliances using common tools to identify issues.
• Administer Azure tenant and cloud infrastructure.
• Handle Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune administration.
• Support secure printing solutions leveraging embedded technologies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities and security concerns.
• Proactively manage End of Life technologies, applications, and systems.
• Adhere to internal Change Management requirements for production environment changes.
• Manage vendor relationships, including license planning, budgeting, and contract renewals.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Corporate Email Systems, including:
• Exchange Server 2019
• Exchange Online
• MAPI Outlook clients
• M365-Premise Hybrid configuration
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft’s MDM solution, Endpoint Manager/Intune, with understanding of Apple/Android BYOD device capabilities and limitations.
• Proficiency in using common network troubleshooting tools (Netmon, Wireshark, Fiddler, Splunk) in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting Azure cloud environments (virtual machines, networking, storage, security).
• Ability to protect Azure data and dependencies using Named Locations, Conditional Access Policies, and tenant restrictions.
• Familiarity with DevOps culture and a passion for exploring new technology within interconnected systems.
• Knowledge of working in highly regulated environments (NIST-CSF, COBIT, CIS).

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Certificates or Licenses:

• Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert certification or equivalent experience.
