Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking a Host/Host with experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant to join our team at The Foundry at Summit Pond and Charity's 1887 Saloon.

The Host/Host is responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience for our guests. You will greet guests upon arrival, manage reservations and take-out orders, and support restaurant staff as needed. You have strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining room and bar area. You enjoy talking to people, have a customer-oriented approach, and have excellent communication skills.

Due to the nature of our business, weekend availability is required.

• Be able to anticipate guest needs
• Have the ability to learn, understand, and explain menus and daily specials
• Take part in pre-service duties and closing duties
• Demonstrate a passion for details and a willingness to learn
• Have a working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Uphold hospitality standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
• Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
