FP&A Manager Job Duties:
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Refine the financial framework for the department
- Forecast various scenarios and strategize for potential outcomes
- Lead cross-departmental data analytics to inform decisions and outcomes
- Mentor and lead a small team (1 direct report)
- Develop new and refine existing financial models
- Improve systems and tools for performance monitoring, reporting, and operational insights
- Develop key highlights/KPIs to track initiatives and identify productivity improvements
- Drive key insights and analytics
- Manage team processes and deadlines effectively
- Identify and analyze trends impacting financial and company performance
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with operational leadership
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Over seven years of progressive experience in data analytics, financial analysis, and forecasting/planning
- Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Experience in BI preferred
- Previous experience supporting C-suite leadership
- Experience creating financial frameworks
- Experience in a private equity setting is advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various leadership levels
- Positive, upbeat personality eager to contribute
