Our growing Phoenix based client is looking for a skilled Senior Tax Analyst to join their team! This role involves preparing tax returns, tax provisions and providing strategic tax planning and research support for various tax issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and a proven ability to handle complex tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and year end tax provisions
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues
• Assist in tax planning and strategy to optimize tax positions
• Prepare federal and state income tax returns and estimates
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to streamline tax compliance and processes
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the company

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or Masters preferred)
• 2 years of tax experience
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
• Proficiency in tax software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
