Position Summary
Position salary range: $57,500 - $72,000 based upon experience
This position is primarily responsible for supporting logistics analysis, pricing analysis and business profitability, as well as a variety of other business intelligence activities. These activities involve receiving or extracting raw data from various sources, normalizing the data into consistent formats and then performing value added analysis and reporting functions.
Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain effective analysis tools to streamline the preparation of normalized data sets from a variety of data sources
• Master various software tools including rating, mapping, optimization, spreadsheets and business intelligence software
• Assist in data manipulation for new business analysis
• Assist in performing profit, yield and pricing analysis
• Provide standardized mode reports for the to aid in the analysis of the logistics networks
• Participate in various network logistics analysis projects as needed, including data handling, manipulation and execution
• Perform continuous improvement analysis that could increase value, lower cost or enhance service
• Handle reoccurring analysis and tasks driving continuous cost savings initiatives and process improvements

• Prioritize, plan and organize workload, work independently

Qualifications
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business or related discipline
• Intermediate user level experience with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools a plus
• 2-3 years performing transportation and logistics analysis preferred
• Effective communication skills required
