The Lab Consulting is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Houston, TX

We are a mid-sized Management Consulting, Automation, and Data/Process Science firm, established in 1993, serving Fortune 1000 companies throughout North America. We have developed a unique, template-based and data-centric approach to our client projects, which are conducted off-site from our Houston office. The Lab is proud to announce we have invested in a new office build out in the Galleria area. We are mindful of employee health and employee work experience and operate at 50% WFH. All employees work at home 50% of the time, and in the office 50% of the time. We have also invested in HEPA air filtration systems that clean air in the office multiple times per hour. Work hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday.

We are searching for an experienced Business Development Representative to join our organization and help us develop relationships with prospective customers. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for new business, and communicating customer feedback to our product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Data Science, Process Improvement, a keen understanding of customer needs, and the ability to develop strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with executives by phone/email that we have sent materials in order to book demos
  • Touch 60 contacts by phone/email daily
  • Maintain a multi-stage executive level sales funnel of inboud leads with the sales and marketing team
  • Pursue warm C-Suite prospects that have expressed interest in our services by email, call, LinkedIn and text message
  • Send new industry and process specific product/service offerings to prospects
  • Develop relationships with current and potential customers
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales
  • Prepare executive level correspondence
  • Manage calendar and meeting schedules

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Monday CRM
  • Proficient in Word (for client correspondence) and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Accustomed to demanding teams
  • Detail oriented and Articulate
  • Has a deep understanding of navigating businesses to find buyers and work around roadblocks
  • 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the Automation industry
