The Lactation Network is Hiring a Clinical Education Program Manager Near Chicago, IL

Job Description

Job Description
Do you enjoy creating and managing education programs for key stakeholders? Are you a self-starter ready to roll up your sleeves in a fast-paced, high-impact work environment? Are you driven to change the standard of care in women’s health?
As Clinical Education Program Manager, you’ll report to our Director of Clinical Resources on initiatives that support our network of Lactation Consultants, our LC partners. Your expertise will be critical to creating, curating, and maintaining essential educational programming from inception through execution. You’ll lean on your strong prioritization, investigative, and problem-solving skills to ensure that projects are executed comprehensively, timely and efficiently.
We are a small, tight-knit, purpose-driven organization with aggressive growth goals in 2024 and beyond. We don’t have all the answers and we don’t expect you to, either. We do expect you to be curious, hardworking, and strive to be your best self.
Breakdown of the role
  • IBCLC Education Program Development (75%). Part of your role will be to ideate, create, and manage educational content for our LC partners to enhance and increase their access to both clinical and private practice resources. You will interface with outside entities to implement educational content and programs. You'll lean on your clinical skills, experience as a private practice IBCLC, and passion for lactation care for projects such as educational webinars, educational program planning, resource creation, and more.
  • Cross-Functional Clinical SME (25%). Part of your role will be to operate as a clinical expert within TLN. You’ll be tapped for sharing industry and clinical insights, hosting partnership presentations, contributing to original lactation content, and auditing existing content. We are a collaborative and curious organization, so sharing ideas for efficiencies and improvements will move the strategic goals of TLN forward.
What we expect from you
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
  • Active IBCLC certification (5 years) with a passion for researching and sharing clinical knowledge.
  • Experience working as a private practice IBCLC
  • 2 experience working as a Professional Development Manager or Education Programming Manager with project management experience.
  • High aptitude for owning projects from ideation through execution.
  • Collaborator: the ability to work on a team while moving projects forward, leaning on your strong communication skills
  • Close Proofreader: You are highly detail–oriented and lean on your strong editing eye with a focus on version control.
  • Organized: You lean on your organizational and time-management skills to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Technically fluent: You’re comfortable interacting with technology and can easily understand new technical concepts.
  • Goal Oriented: You’re excited about new challenges and work to achieve your goals.
  • Problem Solver: You’re adept at spotting issues and suggesting elegant solutions.
What we’d also love to see
  • Experience managing lactation conference programming and/or lactation webinars and workshops.
  • Experience supporting webinar presenters with content development.
  • Experience managing CERPs program execution.
  • Experience as a private practice IBCLC.
  • Experience working with tech platforms like Zoom, PowerPoint, Canva, Salesforce, Asana Guru, Zoom, etc.
  • Experience in high-growth organizations.
What you can expect from us
  • Unlimited PTO. We work hard. We’re passionate about what we’re building together. We also have lives outside work.
  • Healthcare benefits. Medical plus voluntary vision, dental. (We are a healthcare company, after all.)
  • 401(k) with 4% employer match. We’re planning for the future—and we want to help you do the same.
  • Remote-first culture. We are a distributed, remote-first team. We also like spending time together in our Chicago office and have a flexible in-office culture for those who wish to return to work in-person.
  • Mindfulness and meditation app. You’ll have complimentary access to the leading app for meditations, sleep stories, and other wellness resources.
  • Recharge. We have one designated “no meeting day” each week so you can take a break from videoconferencing and have some quiet time to focus.
  • Professional development. We invest in our team by offering every employee access to a professional development budget.
  • Competitive compensation. We’re looking for top talent.
  • A growth environment. The sky’s the limit.
