Your Role: As a Collector you will be responsible for resolving account delinquencies, preventing losses, and building good customer rapport by effectively communicating, relaying account information accurately, and negotiating payment arrangements. Responsibilities
Manage and collect on accounts that are 30-59 days delinquent
Handle portfolio/ track and review loss accounts
Follow and adhere to account and compliance requirements
Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the company
Other tasks assigned by management
Proficiencies
Builds constructive relationships with people both similar and different to self
Works out tough agreements and settles disputes equitably
Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships
Displays a can-do demeanor in good and rough times
Has a history of exceeding goals successfully
Consistently at work and on time and positively responds to strategic direction
Qualifications
High school graduate or comparable
Collection experience is preferred, but not required
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Ability to use office equipment and computers
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proficient typing skills
Can communicate quickly, effectively, and accurately through incoming and outgoing calls, email and text while notating accounts
Effective time management and ability to multi-task
Physical RequirementsAbility to remain stationary for continuous periods of time. Constantly operate a computer and phone. Frequently communicates with customers, coworkers, and managers about accounts. Able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
