The LaSalle Group is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Des Plaines, IL

LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading global company in Rosemont, IL to hire a strong two-year Financial Analyst to handle FP&A for one of their largest business units. A successful candidate will be responsible for full P&L management, leveraging advanced Excel skills to streamline budgeting processes and ensure financial accuracy.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our global operations while gaining invaluable experience within a dynamic industry.

Compensation for this position is up to a base of $95,000 and will be in the Rosemont office 2 days a week.

Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Manage full P&L analysis, including revenue forecasting, expense tracking and variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic solutions
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Financial Analyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis or related role, preferably within a global company
  • Ideal candidates will be coming out of a Financial Development Rotational Program OR in an FP&A role prior at a large organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP and complex formulae
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience with financial software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred but not required
  • Must be able to work in the office two days a week in Rosemont, IL
