Our client, a leader in the hospitality space located in downtown Chicago, is seeking a driven and experienced Head of Human Resources to join their growing team! As the Head of Human Resources , you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies.

The ideal Head of Human Resources will have experience in an entertainment or hospitality multi-state environment with exposure in recruiting, onboarding, offboarding and the entire employee life cycle. They should be knowledgeable about payroll, benefits and employee relations. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills.

Head of Human Resources Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding and training. Be the subject matter expert on all employee relations investigations
• Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HR-related matters for corporate and hourly employees
• Implement performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations and career development plans
• Manage open enrollment
• Identify training and development needs, coordinate training programs and facilitate employee skill enhancement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with training requirements and regulations
• Maintain a thorough understanding of employment laws, regulations and best practices

Head of Human Resources Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field required
• Ability to work fully in-person in downtown Chicago on a hybrid/in-office culture
• 8 years of HR experience in the hospitality or experiential industries
• Multi-state experience required
• Strong interpersonal skills
