The LaSalle Network is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Specialist

LaSalle Network is working with a manufacturing company in the Sterling Heights, MI area who is looking to add an Inside Sales Specialist to their team! This is a full time, temporary role with no set end date.

If you are a collaborative, organized professional with customer service, multi-tasking and sales skills, we want to hear from you!

Inside Sales Specialist Responsibilities :

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Work with customers to determine products that best fit their application via phone and email
  • Assist with customer quotations
  • Assist with issuing and processing returns
  • Perform a variety of customer service and administrative tasks (I.e., scanning, filing, etc.)
  • Assist with customer order issues or concerns
  • Assist with processing online orders and shipments
  • Quote and book shipments for customer orders

Sales Representative Requirements :

  • 1 year of previous customer service and / or sales experience (2 years preferred)
  • Experience working with an accounting and / or ERP database (preferred)
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (I.e., Outlook and Excel)
  • Self-motivated, team player, quick learner, driven to excel with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy sales office is essential
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is helpful but not required
