The Learning Experience, Lakewood Ranch, FL child care center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for toddlers, fostering their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Our Center proudly offers TLE Cares, a comprehensive benefits package for all team members. All premiums for TLE Cares are fully paid, with no cost to our employees.
Starting pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that supports children's growth and exploration.
  • Child Development: Observe and document children's progress, addressing developmental milestones and potential concerns with parents.
  • Parental Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and daily activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma (required) Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Licensing: All state licensing requirements for the role
