Pay & Benefits:

$1000 Sign-On Bonus: Payable in installments.

Competitive Pay: $14 - $18 per hour, based on education and experience.

Work-Life Balance: No evenings, weekends, or major holidays are required.

Flexible Scheduling: Choose between:

• 4 days/week with 10-hour shifts, or
• 5 days/week with 8-hour shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage with Children: Care for and supervise children aged 3 years.
• Foster Development: Support social, emotional, and cognitive skills development through structured activities and play.
• Lesson Planning: Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with our curriculum.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor and document children's developmental milestones.
• Individual Attention: Provide personalized care and attention to each child.
• Special Activities: Organize and lead age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, and music.
• Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
• Parent Collaboration: Communicate with parents about their child's progress and address any concerns.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training opportunities.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and reports.

Developmental Milestones for 3-Year-Olds:

• Language Development: Encourage the use of full sentences and enhance vocabulary.
• Social Skills: Promote sharing, turn-taking, and cooperative play.
• Motor Skills: Develop fine motor skills through drawing and cutting.
• Cognitive Skills: Foster problem-solving abilities and early math skills.
• Emotional Development: Support the expression of feelings and empathy towards others.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working with children (including babysitting and nannying).
• Educational Knowledge: Understand current best practices in early childhood education.
• Activity Leadership: Ability to lead activities promoting growth and development.
• Lesson Planning: Ability to create and implement lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Behavior Management: Positive and respectful behavior management skills.
• Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with children, parents, and staff.
• First Aid & CPR: Certification required (training provided).
• Licensing Standards: Meet all licensing standards, including physical & TB tests and necessary clearances.
• Nurturing Environment: Commitment to providing children with a safe and nurturing space.
