Position Summary
The Lockwood Group is currently pursuing a contract with the U.S.Army Materiel Command Headquarters and are looking for a Senior Logistics Analyst to provide additive manufacturing support to the customer. Your deep understanding of military logistics, combined with your strategic insight and problem-solving skills, will help drive mission success and support the readiness of our armed forces.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on proper course of action and priority to resolve ad-hoc operational, systemic, and procedural for maintenance analysis and sustainment issues.
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings with customers to receive feedback on logistics support, market new ideas, and ensure alignment with customer needs.
  • Identify, document, and implement candidates for fabrication using advanced manufacturing techniques for weapon system use, while respecting and protecting the intellectual property investment of the Original Equipment Manufacturers and vendor partners.
  • Ensure valid needs must be validated with analysis of materiel availability, backorder status, and order volume while keeping in mind that parts via the advanced manufacturing program will supplement, and not substitute the supply chain.
  • Assist the office in developing a list of questions, including Logistics assessment considerations to identify criteria required for AdvM.
  • Perform Log assessment on all potential candidates; maintaining/updating status for the MS Team Tracker; maintaining/updating/tracking status of AM parts as they move through the COP critical path; and supporting the government IPT Lead on daily assignment/action items as required, as well as updating the AdvM COP data call and Facer slides for AMCOM/HQ AMC leadership.
  • Utilize the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) databases and make updates as required.
  • Develop codes using the SAS tool program by extracting data and building reports in support of the analysis review and validation of the LSA-019 Report.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Business related field and 5 - 10 years of relevant experience required.
  • Travel: 25%
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power point are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
