Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist and General Bookkeeper to join our team. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing various HR functions, including employee relations and recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. The Bookkeeping Assistant would be responsible for accounts payable and daily business transaction postings. Have a positive and upbeat personality to be able to work closely with a long term management team.
Duties:
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
- Preparation of HR reports for management review
- Safety Committee compliance
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals
- Reviewing and paying invoices
- Cost analysis of high value equipment
- Daily cash and transaction reports
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures
- General bookkeeping practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
