The Matador in downtown Boise is hiring immediately for Host, Server Assistant, and FOH Support positions!

This is part time work that can turn into full time for the right candidates. We offer competitive pay along with continuous advancement and growth opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 18 years of age

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Be energetic, self-starting, and reliable

- Be professional in appearance and demeanor

- Able to work well with others in a team-focused environment.

- Knowledge of basic dining room and service procedures, generally involving prior experience in a fast-paced, physically demanding, full-service, high-volume restaurant.

- Open to constructive feedback and coaching and always working to improve their skills

Our Support Staff is attentive to Guests’ needs and makes them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed throughout their experience within our walls. Why? Because it’s what we would want for ourselves as Guests, and it’s because as professionals, we care for our craft.

Our Host and Support Staff is responsible for ensuring Guests are greeted warmly within moments of entering the building, always remembering that first impressions last a lifetime. They work closely with Servers, Bartenders, and Back of House to help control the flow of business within the restaurant. Our support Staff has the ability to set the initial tone for our guests and to assist with the positive maintenance of the shift, utilizing teamwork, communication, and energy to contribute to the team.
