Position Summary:

A Construction Laborer - Multi Trades is required to perform a variety of tasks including setting up platforms & access on drilled shafts, chipping & prep/pour concrete, as well as other Laborer related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety, first in everything we do.
• Must understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Set up platforms on drilled shafts.
• Set up access into 8' diameter shafts, along with ladders, fall protection, and retrieval.
• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications.
• Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, using saws, hammers, etc.
• Chipping concrete around internal rebar cages. Removal of concrete using tuggers, etc.
• Prep and pour concrete and grout.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of the procedures to use the tools and equipment safely and properly.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2-5 years of Heavy/Civil Construction experience.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions.
• Maintain good health status and flexibility to bend, push, pull, stoop and/or twist.
• Must be able to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to use fall protection
• Must be able to work in confined spaces up to 45' depth.
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
