Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Reception/Facilities (3-5 years)
Location: Chicago, Onsite - Local candidates only
Duration: 6 Month Contract w/possible extension
Pay Rate: $ 28-32 per hour
Hours: 37.5 per week
The hiring manager seeks a proactive administrative assistant. Individual should be experienced in an office/corporate setting, display professional demeanor, speech and appearance Must have experience responding professionally to phone/email inquiries and directing incoming visitors. Punctuality and solid attendance are of the utmost importance. Resource will circulate office departments to ensure conference areas are equipped with necessary technology and reserved appropriately. May assist with badge creation and support office personnel with document retrieval. Light clean-up of common rooms is expected. A resource with previous receptionist/office experience within a corporate style environment would support this role well. Resource must have previous facilities experience.
Supports one or more mid-level managers. Works in low to medium-complex environment. Performs routine administrative duties: placing, receiving and routing telephone calls; receiving and directing visitors, typing, filing, faxing, handling incoming and outgoing mail, order and maintain supplies, provide backup coverage to other administrative desks. Has basic to intermediate computer skills including: word processing and spreadsheet software. Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Deliverable:
• Maintain stationery and kitchen supplies.
• Serve as back to the Office Manager and be trained on all office system, to include, Security Expert, Chrome River, Procurement, Security systems.
• Maintain the integrity of our offices safety and security by creating, replacing, and or distributing employee badges.
• Assisting in the management of Facilities project as needed.
• Monitor the physical premises daily for required maintenance or repair.
• Schedule and supervise general repair and maintenance activities with on-site service providers and building management staff to provide a comfortable and productive work environment.
• Monitor and coordinate internal work request system – coordinate work with 3rd party service providers.
• Provide assistance scheduling Ergonomic Evaluations for employee's workstation or office furniture configurations.
